Chief,l'Deputy Randall Butler asked the Board to enter into a contract agreement with <br />Narl lest Technologies{1Morrisville, North Carolina, to purchase a NTX2000 -NT5 series machine to test <br />and analyze criminal drug evidence. If approved, the department would pay $20,000 for the unit, with a <br />n0� 11 r <br />$5,000 down payment due at the beginning of the contract agreement and a second $5,000 payment <br />on May 1 {{ {2011. t jjTFe balance of $10,000 would be due August 1, 2011. Mr. Butler stated the <br />department would receive revenues for the services ranging from $300 and /or $600 per test ordered by <br />the courts and payable to Lee County. After discussion, Commissioner Oldham moved to approve the <br />purchase agreement with NarTest Technologies to purchase the above referenced equipment.
