Cameron. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had carried unanimously. <br />III. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Public Hearing for a zoning map amendment request for five tracts of land off of <br />Harvey Faulk Road <br />At 6 p.m. the Board held a public hearing for consideration of an application by <br />Schoolhouse Sanford, LLC to rezone five tracts of land off of Harvey Faulk Road from <br />Residential Restricted and Residential Agriculture -Conditional Use to General <br />Commercial C-2. Schoolhouse Sanford, LLC is interested in creating a new campus for <br />a charter school on the proposed site. The subject property is addressed as 3764, <br />3930, 3934 Highway 87 S. and includes two adjoining vacant lots. Chair Dalrymple <br />opened the public hearing for comments. Public Hearing for a Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendment Update to <br />Article 6 Subdivision Regulations <br />The Board next held a public hearing for consideration of a text amendment to the <br />Unified Development Ordinance, Article 6 Subdivision Regulations, to add language to <br />clarify that all proposed lots that would require a private septic system in order to be <br />developed must be approved by either a licensed soil scientist or the Lee County <br />Environmental Health Department prior to the plat being recorded. Chair Dalrymple <br />opened the public hearing for comments. No one spoke in favor or in opposition of the <br />proposed amendment. <br />Page 216 <br />
