AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />THE LEE COUNTY UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County, North Carolina that the <br />Unified Development Ordinance be, and it hereby is, amended as follows: <br />Section 1. That Article 6, Subdivision Regulations, Section 1 General, be amended to add <br />Section 6.1.10 Lots Requiring a Private Septic System in Order to be Developed, as follows: <br />6.1.10 LOTS REQUIRING A PRIVATE SEPTIC SYSTEM IN <br />ORDER TO BE DEVELOPED <br />All proposed lots that would require a private septic system in order to be <br />developed must be approved by either a licensed soil scientist or the Lee <br />County Environmental Health Department prior to the plat being recorded. <br />Section 2.
