B. Minutes from the March 19, 2018 Regular Meeting. <br />C. FY 2018-2019 State Consolidated Agreement. <br />D. Application for Opioid Grant Funding. <br />E. WIC and Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program Collaboration. <br />F. ES&S Amendments to Election Equipment Sales Agreement. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had carried unanimously. <br />111. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Pursuant to General Statute § 152A-52.1, Chair Dalrymple opened the floor for <br />Public Comments. The following people signed up to speak and were permitted 3 <br />minutes for comments: <br />1. Jim Womack, 1615 Boone Trail Road, Sanford, NC (WB Wicker School Project) <br />2. Mark Coggins, 3909 Hunt Springs Drive, Sanford, NC (Endor Iron Furnace <br />Trail) <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Consideration of a Resolution in Support of House Bill 551 <br />Commissioner Dodson introduced House Bill 551 for discussion at the February <br />19, 2018 Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting. House Bill 551 is entitled "An Act to <br />Amend the Law and Constitution of North Carolina to provide Better Protection and <br />Safeguards to Victims." The primary sponsors of the bill include Representatives Dollar, R. <br />Turner, Destin Hall and Earle.The Bill changes the Constitution of North Carolina in order <br />to give more protections to victims of crimes. Commissioner Oldham moved to approve the <br />Resolution in Support of House Bill 551, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and <br />by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had carried unanimously. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Recognition of the Outstanding Achievements of Heather Connor <br />Chair Dalrymple, on behalf of the Board of Commissioners, presented Heather <br />Connor with a letter of congratulations for her achievements as a world record <br />powerlifter.
