Public hearing on a proposed economic development project with Project Temperature The Board next held a public hearing on a proposed economic development incentive for Project Temperature. SAGA Economic Development Executive Director Bob Joyce stated that the project consists of building construction and the purchase of machinery and equipment in the amount of$22,500,000 in taxable investment in Lee County, with the County sharing up to $306,638 of the cost of the project with revenues from the County's General Fund over the seven year life of the project. The project is estimated to create at least 109 new jobs with an average annual wage of$34,954. Notice of the public hearing was published in The Sanford Herald on February 9, 2018. Public hearing on a proposed economic development project with Project Eagle. The Board next held a public hearing on a proposed economic development incentive for Project Eagle.
