LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND SALE <br />OF REAL PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of County Commissioners entered into an Option Agreement to <br />Purchase Real Property, namely a 2.72 acre tract of land located on Vance Street (PIN 9642-57-5335-00), on May <br />2, 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, the option agreement gave the Board until April 30, 2018 to enter into a purchase agreement <br />to purchase the above mentioned property; and <br />WHEREAS, during the option period, the Board approves the form of the Agreement for the Purchase <br />and Sale of Real Property (the "Purchase Agreement") in substantially the form presented at this meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the Chair of the Board, the County Manager, and the Finance Officer are each hereby <br />authorized to execute and deliver on behalf of the County the Purchase Agreement, in substantially the same form <br />presented at this meeting, containing such modifications as the person executing the Purchase Agreement, with <br />the advice of counsel, shall approve to the extent not inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, such <br />execution and delivery to be conclusive evidence of approval by the Board of any such changes. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that the Board <br />approves the Purchase and Sale of Real Property for the 2.72 acre tract of land located on Vance Street (PIN <br />9642-57-5335-00), and authorizes the Chair, County Manager and Finance Officer to sign any documents related <br />with the Purchase Agreement and authorize the Clerk to the Board to affix the official seal of the County to the <br />Purchase Agreement and to attest the same to the extent so required. <br />ADOPTED this 1 4 ,.. day of , <br />Amy Dalrymple, Chair <br />Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />
