LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION <br />TO ADD BUCKROE DRIVE <br />TO THE NORTH CAROLINA DOT ROAD SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation asking that Buckroe Drive (SR 1490 Extension) be added to the North Carolina <br />State System; and <br />WHEREAS, Buckroe Drive (SR 1490 Extension) is located off of SR 1466 (Deep River <br />Road) within the Doe Run Subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners have considered the above <br />described request and is of the opinion that Buckroe Drive (SR 1490 Extension) should be added <br />to the Secondary Road System if the road meets minimum standards established by the Division <br />of Highways; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />that the Division of Highways is hereby requested to take over Buckroe Drive (SR 1490 <br />Extension) for maintenance if it meets established standards and criteria. <br />Adopted this 11 h day of December, 2017. <br />Chair <br />Lee &unty Board of Commissioners <br />Attest: <br />Ynnifer�3y�'mble <br />Clerk to �e Board <br />
