Sloan Park be resurfaced at a <br />cost of $75,000, with a $15,000 donation from the Rotary Club. The <br />final cost to the County would be $60,000. <br />(7) Requested that any department that budgeted for a new printer solicit <br />bids for less expensive printers. Also requested that all departments <br />come before the Board for approval before purchasing such items. <br />Cooperative Extension Director John Hall was questioned as to why his department <br />needed such an expensive printer. Mr. Hall gave an explanation and answered questions <br />from various Board members. <br />(8) Recommend that the Lee County Arts Council receive $3,000 instead <br />$1,500. <br />(9) Recommend the Temple Theater receive $12,000. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the recommendations for items 5 through 9 as <br />stated above.
