Commissioner Garner nominated Chairperson Matthews to be the voting delegate <br />for Lee County. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a voting delegate for the NACo Conference to be held in <br />Portland, Oregon on July 18-22, 1998. Commissioner Garner nominated Chairperson <br />Matthews as the voting delegate for Lee County, and Vice Chairman Doug Moretz as the <br />alternate voting member. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered appointments to the At Risk Student Task Force <br />Committee. Chairperson Matthews recommended Carol Cox and Cheville Branch to <br />serve on this committee. Commissioner Garner moved to approve Chairperson Matthews <br />recommendation. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a contract for planning services between the City of Sanford <br />and the County of Lee. Chairperson Matthews moved the agreement be approved with an <br />amendment stating that any person having a complaint concerning planning services direct <br />their complaint to the County Manager. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />8 <br />
