BooK 17 ploF 415 <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />004 <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an appointment to the Lee County Transportation Advisory <br />Board. Commissioner Matthews moved to nominate Maria Power to the Board. <br />Commissioner Mansfield seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered term limits for the Lee County Economic Development <br />Board. Chairperson Matthews recommended the term limits be set at three years for Lee <br />County appointees. Commissioner Mansfield moved that three year term limits for Lee <br />County appointees to the Economic Development Board be approved. Commissioner <br />Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board decided to discuss these term limits in more detail at the next meeting in <br />August. <br />The Board heard a report from Mr. Jim Felton of the Dennis A. Wicker Civic <br />Center. Mr. Felton discussed with the Board the monthly report he submits concerning <br />events held at the Civic Center. <br />Mr. Murray Gould from Affordable Housing Advisors LLC gave the Board a <br />quarterly report on the Wilrik Hotel project. He told the Board the entire project should <br />be completed by the end of October and ready for occupancy. <br />Ms. Heather Murrell, Executive Director of the Lee County Partnership for <br />Children gave the Board a report on this program and answered questions from various <br />Board members. <br />The Board considered a resolution for approval to purchase appraisal software for <br />the Tax Department. Commissioner Garner moved approval of the following resolution <br />awarding a contract to purchase: <br />4 <br />
