003 <br />BOOK V Her 41 ,1 <br />The Board considered an annual re-license fee to cover maintenance and support <br />floor various software packages. Information Services Director Lesa Price told the Board <br />the annual re-license fees requisition to Keystone (EDS) to cover maintenance and support <br />for various software packages for the Tax Office, Sheriffs Department, Board of <br />Elections, Inspections Office and Jury needed to be considered. After some discussion, <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the annual re-license fees to Keystone <br />Information Systems, Inc. in the amount of $28,454.00. Commissioner Moretz seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a temporary part-time position for the Register of Deeds <br />Office. After some discussion, Commissioner Garner moved to add $8,500 to the <br />Register of Deeds FY 1998-99 budget to cover the employment of a temporary part-time <br />employee. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the hiring of a part-time registered sanitarian for the Lee <br />County Health Department. County Manager William Cowan told the Board Health <br />Director Phyllis Lowry was asking approval to hire a registered sanitarian at $20.00 per <br />hour until a full time registered sanitarian can be recruited. After some discussion, <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the hiring of a part-time worker at $20.00 per <br />hour. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered appointments to the Industrial Facilities and Pollution <br />Control Financing Authority and Rest Home and Nursing Home Advisory Committee. <br />Chairperson Matthews moved these appointments be tabled until the next meeting in <br />August. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />3 <br />
