0 Bwx 17 ?Au 421 0 3 0 <br />At 7:00 p.m. the meeting resumed in Courtroom 9 4 of the old Lee County <br />Courthouse. Commissioners present were Garner, Mansfield, Matthews and Moretz. <br />Commissioners Cox, Paschal and Reives had been excused by the Chairperson. <br />Commissioner Mansfield moved to conduct joint public hearings with the Planning Board <br />as advertised for this date and time. Commissioner Garner seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Planner Althea Thompson outlined the first rezoning petition by Joel Lemmond <br />and Jerry Lemmond to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Residential <br />Agricultural 50/40 District, two tracts of land at 3914 Minter School Road which total <br />approximately 45.54 acres. <br />Mr. Joel Lemmond of 1403 Spring Lane spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />Ms. Diane Premo of 973 Minter School Road and Mr. Robert French of 9327 <br />Minter School Road spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Ms. Thompson outlined the second rezoning request for J. Douglas Moretz to <br />rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Office and Institutional District, <br />approximately .32 acres of land at 4001 Hawkins Avenue. <br />Mr. Doug Moretz of 2257 Brown Road and Mr. Walter Perry of 303 N. Vance <br />Street spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Mansfield <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned. <br />Bertha L.
