BUCK 17 PAGE 452 O i l <br />Mr. John Gaines of ABC Real Estate and agent for the property owners spoke in <br />favor of the request. <br />The following individuals spoke in opposition to the request: <br />Tom Zone, 2151 Cotton Road <br />Max Hall, 957 Cunmock Road <br />Raymond Friedl, 920 Cumnock Road <br />Ed Ashburn, 605 Thomas Williams Road <br />Angela McLeod, 2417 Dover Street <br />Bob Strickland, 2394 Cotton Road <br />Mrs. Thompson outlined the fourth and final petition by Jean Cashion-Reynolds <br />and Charles Reynolds to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Residential <br />Agricultural 50/40 District, two tracts of land on Pressley Foushee Road consisting of a <br />2.14 acre tract and a 5.49 acre tract of land at 263 Pressley Foushee Road. <br />Mrs. Jean Reynolds of 263 Pressley Foushee Road spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />request. <br />The following individuals spoke in opposition to the request: <br />Joy Scott, 5933 Center Church Road <br />Gail Foushee, 334 Pressley Foushee Road <br />James Williams, 5801 Center Church Road <br />Commissioner Mansfield moved to close the joint public hearings. Commissioner <br />Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairperson Matthews recessed the meeting while the Planning Board deliberated <br />on the request by Mr. Ed Hubbard. The Board recessed to the small conference room <br />behind Courtroom # 4. <br />Chairperson Matthews called the meeting back to order. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to reconsider the Martin Street property matter that <br />was discussed during regular session earlier in the meeting. Chairperson Matthews <br />seconded the motion. The motion failed to get a majority vote and therefore died. <br />11 <br />
