008 <br />17 +80 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />FY 1999-2000 CDBG APPLICATION <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CDBG PROJECT ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, Lee County wishes to ensure good communication between the Board of <br />Commissioners and the citizens of the county during implementation of the FY 1999- <br />2000 CDBG program; and <br />WHEREAS, the county believes that positive citizen participation significantly improves <br />the quality of the county's overall community development efforts; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Lee County hereby resolves to create a Project Advisory <br />Committee for the proposed FY 1999-2000 CDBG project. <br />The Project Advisory Committee will function as described in the project application, <br />will make recommendations to this board on CDBG-related issues and will in general act <br />as an intermediary between county residents and the Board of Commissioners. <br />Commissioner Mansfield seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Moretz <br />moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned. <br />Bertha L.
