Commissioner Cox read and presented a resolution to members and coaches of the Sanford Sting Mitey Mites Pop Warner Football Team. Commissioner Mansfield read and presented resolutions to John Flail and Vicki Pettit of the Cooperative Extension Service Office. Commissioners Garner and Paschal nominated Anna Phillips and Woodrow Mashburn to the Census Count 2000 Committee. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the two nominations. Planner Ron Satterfield told the Board the Planning Board recommended establishing a moratorium until March 1, 1999, on acceptance of applications or the granting of amendments or changes to the zoning ordinance to permit changes to RA 50/40, Residential Agricultural - 50/40 District or RA 50/40 CU, Residential Agricultural - 50/40 Conditional Use Districts. Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the following: ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS OR THE GRANTING OF AMENDMENTS OR CHANGES TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT CHANGES TO RA-50/40, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL-50/40 DISTRICT OR RA-50/40-CU, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL-50/40 CONDITIONAL USE DISTRICTS BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County as follows: Section 1.
