Commissioner Adams seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a resolution to release Lee County's share of $3,103.66 in <br />economic development monies from The State Budget Office to the Triangle J Council Of <br />Governments. Commissioner Matthews moved to release Lee County's share of funds in <br />the amount of S3,103.66 to the Triangle J Council of Governments. Commissioner Gamer <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a letter received concerning the speed limit on Center Church <br />Road from US I at Tramway to Pressley Foushee Road/Henley Road intersection. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved that the Board submit a letter to the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation asking that a speed limit study be conducted on this road. <br />Commissioner Garner seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman I-lincks moved that a work session be held with Planning staff and City <br />Councilmen concerning the proposed 2020 Land Use Plan on Monday, January 1 I, 1999, <br />from 6:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Gordon A. Wicker Community Conference Room at the <br />Lee County Government Center.
