0.04 <br />BOOK V ® 525 <br />Reives Garner <br />Sauls Paschal <br />Attorney Hoyle announced that Commissioner Garner had received three votes and <br />Commissioner Paschal had received four votes, therefore Commissioner Nathan E. Paschal <br />had been selected Vice Chairman for the coming year. <br />The Board considered a resolution fixing time, date, and place of regular meetings. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the following resolution: <br />follows: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee as <br />SECTION 1: The Board of Commissioners shall hold a regular meeting <br />on the first and third Monday of each month. If the regular meeting day is a holiday on <br />which County offices are closed, the meeting shall be held on the next business day or such <br />succeeding day as may be specified in the motion adjourning the immediately preceding <br />regular meeting. <br />SECTION 2: Regular meetings shall be held in the Commissioners' <br />Room, V Floor, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North <br />Carolina. <br />SECTION 3: The regular meeting on the first Monday of each month will <br />begin at 8:00 a.m. The regular meeting on the third Monday of each month will begin at <br />3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. as designated in the agenda for said meeting as approved by the <br />Chairman of the Board in his discretion. <br />SECTION 4: The County Manager is directed to cause a copy of this <br />resolution to be posted on the courthouse bulletin board and a summary of it to be published <br />at least ten (10) days before the first meeting to which the resolution is to apply. <br />Commissioner Adams seconded the motion, and upon a vole, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hineks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered bonds for certain Lee County employees. County Attorney <br />K. R. Hoyle told the Board that each year the Board of Commissioners is required by <br />General Statute to examine bonds for the following: <br />• Sheriff <br />• Register of Deeds <br />• Every other officer of the County who is required by law to give a bond <br />for the faithful performance of the duties of his/her office, which in Lee <br />County's case are: <br />2 <br />
