BUNK 17 PAG 86 00"r <br />Aye: Adams, Matthews, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: Garner, Hincks, and Paschal <br />The Chaimman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to three vote. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to defer consideration of amendments to the Lee <br />County Zoning Ordinance and Lee County Subdivision Ordinance until the March 22, <br />1999, meeting and request that Community Development Director Reggie Scales be in <br />attendance. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered proposals for the installment purchase contract for the <br />proposed Agribusiness Center. Finance Director Lisa Minter told the Board that she had <br />received four bids. After reviewing the bids with County Attorney K. R. Hoyle, she <br />recommended the contract be awarded to First Union National Bank. After sonic <br />discussion, Commissioner Matthews moved to award the contract to First Union <br />National Bank on a ten year term for $1.530 million. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and SaLIIS <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a joint resolution between the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners, Town of Broadway Commissioners, City of Sanford City Council, City <br />of Sanford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Lee County Committee of 100 <br />Board of Directors, and Lee County Economic Development Corporation relating to <br />growth and economic development. After some discussion, Commissioner Paschal <br />moved to approve the following: <br />JOINT RESOLUTION <br />Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />Town of Broadway Board of Commissioners <br />City of Sanford City Council <br />City of Sanford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors <br />Lee County Committee of 100 Board of Directors <br />Lee County Economic Development Corporation <br />7 <br />
