BOOK V PAGE 85 006 <br />George H. Hall and Michael D. Hall to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to <br />Highway Commercial District, approximately .70 acres of land at 2807 Cox Mill Road. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning Board to <br />deny the petition. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Satterfield told the Board that the Planning Board recommended denial of <br />the rezoning request by Timothy Glasson to rezone from Light Industrial-Conditional <br />Use District to Light Industrial District, approximately 5.56 acres of land at 1062 <br />Hickory House Road. Mr. Glasson spoke briefly to the Board and explained a <br />misunderstanding that took place between himself and the Planning Department <br />concerning an earlier request in December, 1998. After some discussion, Mr. Glasson <br />stated lie wished to withdraw his current rezoning petition and resubmit at a later time <br />showing future site development areas. After further discussion, Commissioner Adams <br />moved for the Board to waive the $50.00 rezoning fee for Mr. Glasson when he <br />resubmits his request. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Satterfield told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval of <br />the rezoning request by Marilyn Zone, agent for Patricia Peedin, Executrix to rezone <br />from Residential Agricultural District to Light Industrial District, approximately 3 to 5 <br />acres located on the north side of Broadway Road, a portion of a 14.89 acre parcel <br />within Lee County's planning jurisdiction. The balance of this property is within the <br />City of Sanford's city limits. Commissioner Garner moved to accept the <br />recommendation of the Planning Board. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Rcives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Satterfield told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval of <br />the rezoning request by Pace Oil Company, Inc. to rezone from Residential Agricultural <br />District to Highway Commercial District, approximately 41.17 acres of land on the east <br />side of US 15-501 & Hwy. 87 North. Commissioner Sauls moved to approve the <br />recommendation of the Planning Board. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />6 <br />
