av 17 Pace 781 <br />r05 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Hincks recessed the meeting until 7:00 p.m. <br />Upon returning at 7:00 p.m. with all members present except Commissioner <br />Reives, the meeting resumed. <br />Chairman Hincks opened the public hearing which had been advertised for this <br />date and time. Planner Althea Thompson outlined the rezoning petition submitted by <br />John Daniel, agent for White Dog Properties, Inc. and Lee Littiken, to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural and Residential Restricted District to Light Industrial District, <br />four (4) lots at 3001, 3005 and 3009 Hawkins Avenue. <br />Mr. John Daniel of 2250 Cape Jasmine Drive spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to recess the meeting while the Planning Board <br />deliberated on the rezoning request. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Sauls left the meeting at this time. <br />After the Planning Board had deliberated on the rezoning request, <br />Commissioner Garner moved to reconvene the meeting of the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, and Paschal <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board to approve the rezoning request by John Daniel.
