one <br />aoox 47 Rcf 780 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />Commissioner Garner asked the Board to consider at the next meeting on <br />August 23, 1999, the possibility of requiring all owners of recreational four-wheelers to <br />register their vehicles with the Lee County Sheriff's Office. He told the Board that he <br />had discussed this matter with Sheriff Billy Bryant, who is also in favor of this request. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle was instructed to check with other counties and see what <br />procedures needed to be taken to implement this registration. <br />Commissioner Sauls made a motion that in light of the recent shooting on July <br />11, 1999, where two Lee County Deputies were shot and wounded, that the Board <br />consider a resolution of appreciation at the next meeting for all law enforcement, fire, <br />rescue, emergency medical services personnel, and emergency management personnel <br />for their service and dedication to the citizens of Lee County. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Paschal made a motion that Clerk to the Board Gaynell Lee be <br />reclassified from Administrative Assistant/Clerk to the Board (Grade 65, Step 9) to <br />Assistant to the County Manager (Grade 67, Step 7). Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauds <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to go into the Lee County Water and Sewer <br />District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board <br />was in the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. After completing business in the <br />Water and Sewer District No 1 meeting, Commissioner Garner moved to adjourn the <br />Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauts <br />Nay: None <br />4 <br />
