Commissioner Sauls made a motion that in light of the recent shooting on July 11, 1999, where two Lee County Deputies were shot and wounded, that the Board consider a resolution of appreciation at the next meeting for all law enforcement, fire, rescue, emergency medical services personnel, and emergency management personnel for their service and dedication to the citizens of Lee County.
