Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to go into the Lee County Water and Sewer District <br />No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Upon completing business in the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting, <br />Commissioner Garner moved to adjourn the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Hincks recessed the meeting until 7:00 p.m. to convene at Courtroom <br />No. 4 at the Lee County Courthouse. <br />Upon returning at 7:00 p.m., all members being present, the meeting resumed. <br />Chairman Hincks opened the public hearing which had been advertised for this <br />date and time. Althea Thompson, Planner, summarized the rezoning petition submitted <br />by Randall Godfrey and Larry Rives to rezone .927 acres of land located at the corner of <br />Bruce Coggins and Tramway Road from Residential Agricultural District to Highway <br />Commercial District. <br />Randall Godfrey of 2311 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />request. <br />Those speaking in opposition of the request were: Maxine Yarborough, 163 <br />Bruce Coggins Road; Francena Cole, 2916 Tramway Road; Norbet Johnson, 515 Bruce <br />Coggins Road, and Diane Lett Thomas, Bruce Coggins Road. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearing. <br />9 <br />
