C.) BOOX 17 PcF 879 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, RESOLUTION AWARDING LEE COUNTY. CONTRACT TO PURCHASE THAT WHEREAS, the County of Lee and the City of Sanford desires to install a network of personal computers that will bring a new level of technology, speed, and simplicity to the Lee County and City of Sanford Inspections Department's process; and WHEREAS, the County of Lee and the City of Sanford desires to purchase a central permitting software system for Lee County and City of Sanford Inspections Departments; and WHEREAS, the County of Lee and the City of Sanford has previously disseminated requests for bids in connection with the purchase of a central permitting software system for Lee County and City of Sanford Inspections Department as required by law; and WHEREAS, the County of Lee and the City of Sanford has published an Invitation for Bids in a local newspaper as required by law; and WHEREAS, pursuant to such requests the County of Lee and the City of Sanford has now received sealed bids from Infotrax, Inc. and Municipal Software Corporation; and WHEREAS, such bids have been reviewed by the appropriate representatives of the County of Lee and the City of Sanford; and WHEREAS, the bid received from Infotrax, Inc. was negotiated to make reasonable changes in the number of license requested in the bid; and WHEREAS, Infotrax, Inc. submitted the lowest bid and it has been determined that Infotrax, Inc. is a responsible entity and the bid submitted by it is responsive; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee considers it in the best interest of the County to proceed with the acceptance of the bid of Infotrax, Inc., and to award the subject bid to said entity and to make provisions for execution of all documents necessary in order to effectuate such award: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee that the purchase of a central permitting software system pursuant to all of those terms and conditions contained in the Lee County and City of Sanford's request for bids shall be and the same is hereby awarded to Infotrax, Inc. for the sun not to exceed $51,526.00, (County portion - $25,763.00, City portion - $25,763.00), that the appropriate representatives of the County of Lee and the City of Sanford shall prepare and otherwise provide all necessary contract documents and issue required purchasing forms in order to effectuate such award, and that the County Manager of the County of
