0 <br />BGu"X 17 >ac~ 89~_ <br />There being no further business to come before the Board Chairman Hincks <br />recessed the meeting until 7:00 p.m. <br />Upon returning at 7:00 p.m. at the old Lee County Courthouse with all members <br />present except Commissioners Robert Reives and John Sauls, the meeting resumed. <br />Chairman Hincks called the meeting to order and opened the joint public hearing that had <br />been advertised for this date and time. Planner Althea Thompson outlined the petition by <br />James C. Clifton to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Highway <br />Commercial District, approximately one acre of land on the west side of Hawkins <br />Avenue at the corner of San-Lee Drive and Hawkins Avenue. <br />Mr. James C. Clifton of 291 Waterview Lane spoke in favor of the request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearing and Commissioner Paschal moved to <br />adjourn the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, and Paschal <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Reives and Sauls <br />Chairman Hincks ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the <br />meeting adjourned in keeping with the motion. <br />Herbert A.
