0 13-00K 17 PAGE 947 003 <br />SECTION 3: The regular meeting on the first Monday of each month will begin <br />at 8:00 a.m. The regular meeting on the third Monday of each month will begin at <br />3:00 p.m. <br />SECTION 4: "file County Manager is directed to cause a copy of this resolution <br />to be posted on the courthouse bulletin board and a summary of it to be published at least <br />ten (10) days before the first meeting to which the resolution is to apply. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Paschal, and Sauls <br />Nay: Matthews and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to two vote. <br />The Board considered bonds for certain Lee County employees. County Attorney <br />K. R. Hoyle told the Board that each year the Board of Commissioners is required by <br />General Statute to examine bonds for the following: <br />• Sheriff <br />• Register of Deeds <br />• Every other officer of the County who is required by law to give a <br />bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his/her office, <br />including the following: <br />• Tax Administrator <br />• Finance Officer <br />• Any employee who handles $100.00 or more at any one <br />time. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve bonds as recommended by the County <br />Attorney. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and SaUIS <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unaninmously. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the consent agenda, which consisted of <br />the following items: <br />• Minutes of the November 15, 1999 meeting <br />• Release of finds from the Public School Building Capital Fund for the <br />construction of Broadway Elementary School (copy attached) <br />• FY 2000/2001 Community Transportation Program Grant Application for the <br />County of Lee Transit System <br />3 <br />
