Commissioner Oldham voted to approve the <br />agreement with CoreMark International, LLC, a copy of which is attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: Knecht <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted 6 to 1. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS <br />_Budget Amendment #10/02/17/03 <br />Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the following appropriation for the Board's <br />consideration: <br />- Appropriation to the Senior Services Department in the amount of $3,865.00 in <br />SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program) Grant funds to be used for <br />travel, advertising, program supplies and printing expenses. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve Budget Amendment #10/02/17/03, a copy <br />of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a <br />vote, the results are as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />VII. MANAGER'S REPORTS <br />County Manager Crumpton introduced Jamie Brown as the new Community and <br />Government Relations Manager who is set to start at the end of October. <br />VIII. COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS <br />- Commissioner Reives asked Counsel to provide an overview regarding conceal <br />carry before the issue is taken up to find out exactly where we are in compliance <br />with State law. <br />- Commissioner Dalrymple acknowledge thank you letters from attendees at the <br />Enrichment Center. <br />- Commissioner Sloan moved to approve Closed Session Minutes from August 21, <br />2017. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />- Commissioner Sloan moved to approve Closed Session Minutes from September <br />18, 2017.
