LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />ORDINANCE ALLOWING THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES <br />BEGINNING AT 10:00 A.M. ON SUNDAY <br />WITHIN THE COUNTY OF LEE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Session Law 2017-87, NCGS 153A-145.7, authorizes <br />cities and county governments to adopt an ordinance allowing for the sale of malt <br />beverages, unfortified wine, fortified wine, and mixed beverages beginning at 10:00 a.m. <br />on Sunday pursuant to the licensed premises' ABC permit issued under NCGS 18B-1001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, restaurants and other retail establishments within the County of Lee <br />may desire to sell malt beverages, unfortified wine, fortified wine and mixed beverages <br />beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, to meet the needs of its customers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Lee County that: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to Session Law 2017-87, within Lee County, the sale of <br />malt beverages, unfortified wine, fortified wine and mixed beverages is hereby allowed <br />beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday pursuant to the licensed premises' ABC permit issued <br />under NCGS 18B-1001. <br />Section 2. All laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of <br />any conflict. <br />Section 3.
