Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Gamer, Matthews, and Sauk <br />Nay: Hincks, Paschal, and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to three vote. <br />The Board considered matters relating to the Emergency Management Office. <br />Emergency Management Director Warren Lee asked that the Board accept the donation <br />of twenty (20) propane gas space heaters and five (5) generators from Lowe's Flome <br />Centers, Inc. Commissioner Garner moved to accept the above items. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and SanIS <br />Nay: None <br />The Chainnan ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a resolution of appreciation to Lowe's Home Centers, Inc. <br />for their donation of twenty heaters and five generators to the Emergency Management <br />Office. Commissioner SaL115 moved to approve a resolution of appreciation, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, and the resolution <br />was read and presented to Store Manager Larry Edens. <br />Mr. Lee asked that the Board approve the acceptance of a donation of $3,000 <br />from Carolina Power and Light Company that will be used to purchase a trailer to store <br />and transport emergency shelter supplies. Commissioner Garner moved to accept the <br />above donation.
