002 <br />u or V FA6F 975 <br />• Waive gym rental fees at the Recreation Department for Provisions Academy <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board. Planner <br />Althea Thompson told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval of the <br />petition by Bert Matthews for Frances Honeycutt, to rezone from Residential Agricultural <br />District to Residential Restricted District, approximately 1.81 acres of land located at 61 <br />and 79 Wildlife Road. <br />Commissioner Matthews asked that she be allowed to abstain from voting. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Paschal, Reives, and SaL115 <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board to approve the rezoning petition for Ms. Frances Honeycutt. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Paschal, Reives, and Sallls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Matthews asked that the Planning Board be allowed to approve <br />small acreage amounts when property owners wish to divide property instead of having <br />to have the land rezoned. Planner Althea Thompson was asked to research the matter <br />and report back to the Board at the nest meeting on February 21, 2000. <br />Ms. Thompson outlined the second rezoning petition by Randall Godfrey and <br />Larry Rives to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Highway Commercial <br />Conditional Use District, approximately .927 acres of land at the corner of Bruce Coggins <br />Road and Tramway Road for the location of an auto body shop. Commissioner Paschal <br />moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning Board to deny the rezoning request. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: Adams and SaUIS <br />2 <br />
