® naoK 18 P.AcE 09 S <br />Mike Saweda 299 Racoon Court <br />Susan Laudate 424 Arlington Circle <br />No one spoke in opposition to the bond order. <br />After the Board had heard all persons who requested to be heard, Commissioner <br />Garner moved to close the public hearing for the community college bond order. <br />Commissioner Adams seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />Commissioner Adams moved that the community college bond order be amended <br />by deleting the second paragraph and by revising Section 1 to read as follows: <br />Section 1. The Board of COmm1SSlonerS of the County of Lee, at the <br />request of the Board of Trustees of Central Carolina Community <br />College, proposes to provide community college facilities for Central <br />Carolina Community College, including the construction of a new <br />building, including the acquisition and installation of necessary <br />furnishings and equipment, and to pay capital costs of such <br />improvements. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved that the Board of Commissioners adopt without <br />change or further amendment and direct the Clerk to the Board to publish as prescribed <br />by The Local Government Bond Act the bond order entitled, "BOND ORDER <br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $4,300,000 COMMUNITY COLLEGE BONDS <br />OF THE COUNTY OF LEE," introduced at the meeting of the Board of Commissioners <br />held on February 21, 2000 and heretofore amended. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Reives, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Flineks, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />009 <br />9 <br />
