Auer some discussion, Commissioner Garner moved to accept the <br />following recommendations from Youth and Adult Services Director Randell Woodruff: <br />Robert T. Reives, It, Marian Rice (replacing Tommy Mullis), and Brenda Potts (replacing <br />Laura Phillips). Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />At 4:30 p.m. Commissioner Paschal moved to recess the meeting until 7:00 p.m. <br />and to reconvene in Courtroom #4 at the old Lee County Courthouse, 1400 S. Horner <br />Blvd., Sanford, N.C. to conduct public hearings and conduct such other business as may <br />lawfully come before this meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />recessed. <br />At 7:00 p.m. the Board of Commissioners reconvened the meeting in Courtroom <br />#4 at the old Lee County Courthouse, 1400 S. Horner Blvd., Sanford, N.C. with all <br />members present except Commissioner Sauls. The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />The Chairman told the Board that the first public hearing that had been advertised was to <br />hear comments from the general public concerning the Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) <br />for FY 2000/2001-2004/2005. <br />No one spoke in favor of or in opposition to the Capital Improvements Plan. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to close the public hearing for the Capital <br />Improvements Plan.
