<br />Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I (hereinafter called the "District "), a
<br />county water and sewer district in the State of North Carolina, acknowledges itself indebted and
<br />for value received, hereby promises to pay to [UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ACTING BY
<br />AND THROUGH RURAL UTILITIES SERVICE, AN AGENCY OF THE UNITED STATES
<br />DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE], or its registered assigns, the principal sum of
<br />$4,166,000 on the first day of June in years and installments, as follows:
<br />in such coin or currency of the United States of America as at the time of payment shall be legal
<br />tender for the payment of debts due the United States of America, and to pay interest on the
<br />balance of said principal sum from time to time remaining unpaid, in like coin or currency, at the
<br />rate of four and six hundred twenty -five thousandths per ccntum (4.625 %) per annum on June 1,
