- 18 FacF 793 <br />on the question of whether the maximum time period for issuing bonds and bond <br />anticipation notes under the bond order entitled "BOND ORDER AUTHORIZING THE <br />ISSUANCE OF 59,300,000 WATER BONDS OF LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER <br />DISTRICT NO. 1," adopted by the Board of Commissioners, sitting as the governing body <br />of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1, on September 25, 1995, should be <br />extended from seven to ten years. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Adams, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, 1- Iincks, Lemmond, Matthews, paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />At 8:05 a.m., the Chairman announced that the board would hear anyone who <br />wished to be heard on the question of the above authorization extension. No one asked to <br />be recognized to speak and after waiting a reasonable time, Commissioner Paschal moved <br />that the public hearing be closed. The notion was seconded by Commissioner Adams, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adamms, Hineks, Lemnmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sanls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond presented the following order and moved that it be <br />adopted: <br />"ORDER EXTENDING THE MAXIMUM PERIOD DURING <br />WHICH BONDS AND BOND ANTICIPATION NOTES MAY BE <br />ISSUED UNDER A BOND ORDER ENTITLED `BOND ORDER <br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $9,300,000 WATER BONDS <br />OF LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1,' <br />ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE <br />COUNTY, SITTING AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE LEE <br />COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 ON <br />SEPTEMBER 25,1995" <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County, sitting as the governing <br />body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I (the "District "), has filed an <br />application with the Local Government Commission requesting an extension of time <br />maximum period during which bonds and bond anticipation notes may be issued by the <br />District pursuant to a water bond order adopted by said Board on September 25, 1995, from <br />a period of seven years to a maximum period of ten years, expiring on November 6, 2005; <br />and, <br />
