0 eco.; - 18 ncF 74 <br />• Send a very strong letter (certified registered return mail) to all delinquent dry tap <br />customers telling them they have until the end of the year to pay their bill. If not paid <br />by the end of the year, remove the dry tap at their expense. Charges for dry tap <br />removal must be paid in full within 30 days after removal. <br />• At the end of the year, turn over any unpaid accounts to County Attorney K. R. Hoyle <br />for collection. <br />• Charge only for water charges and one $20.00 late charge. <br />• Advise customers that if the tap is removed and they wish to have it reinstalled, they <br />will be charged $650 for the second tap. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, I-lincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reivcs, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Matthews <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives discussed with the board a water tap for Hal Kelly on Poplar <br />Springs Church Road. Commissioner Reives told the board that Mr. Kelly had paid the required <br />$75.00 tap on fee and was later told that the water line would not be placed in front of his home <br />and his money was refunded. At a later time, a private developer installed a line in front of his <br />home and he was then told lie would have to pay $650.00 for a tap on. Mr. Reives requested that <br />in the future when a similar situation happens that all of the details be explained so the resident <br />will better understand why the tap on fee is higher. No action was taken on the matter. <br />There being no further business to come before the governing body of the Lee County <br />Water and Sewer District No. I, Commissioner Adams moved to adjourn the Water and Sewer <br />District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Matthews <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />Ilerbert A.
