If not paid by the end of the year, remove the dry tap at their expense. Charges for dry tap removal must be paid in full within 30 days after removal. • At the end of the year, turn over any unpaid accounts to County Attorney K. R. Hoyle for collection. • Charge only for water charges and one $20.00 late charge. • Advise customers that if the tap is removed and they wish to have it reinstalled, they will be charged $650 for the second tap. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, I-lincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reivcs, and Sauls Nay: None Absent: Matthews The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Reives discussed with the board a water tap for Hal Kelly on Poplar Springs Church Road. Commissioner Reives told the board that Mr. Kelly had paid the required $75.00 tap on fee and was later told that the water line would not be placed in front of his home and his money was refunded. At a later time, a private developer installed a line in front of his home and he was then told lie would have to pay $650.00 for a tap on. Mr. Reives requested that in the future when a similar situation happens that all of the details be explained so the resident will better understand why the tap on fee is higher. No action was taken on the matter. There being no further business to come before the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I, Commissioner Adams moved to adjourn the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting.
