eoo� iS Pace 741 AN <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />V <br />OCTOBER 22, 2001 <br />$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 was <br />held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, <br />North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, <br />Jerry M. Lemmond, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and John I. Sauls. Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews was absent. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Gaynell M. Lee, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners <br />acted as Secretary of the meeting. <br />The board considered additional agenda items. Commissioner Reives asked that the <br />board discuss a water tap for Hal Kelly on Poplar Springs Church Road. Commissioner Adams <br />moved to approve the agenda with the above addition. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Matthews <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />• Minutes of the October 1, 2001 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Matthews <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />118 <br />The board considered overdue dry tap bills for water customers in the Phase I Water <br />Project. After much discussion, Commissioner Reives moved for Public Works Director Kenny <br />Cole to handle the matter in the following manner: <br />
