Offer to Purchase Surplus Property Located at 109 S. Third Street <br />County Attorney Whitney Parrish provided the Board with a third upset bid offer for <br />the purchase of property located at 109 S. Third Street, Sanford, NC. The bid was <br />submitted by Christian Campus in the amount of $15,000.00. Commissioner Sloan moved <br />to accept the upset bid offer in the amount of $15,000.00, the resolution accepting the <br />upset bid and allowing for the advertisement of the bid is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Budget Amendment #09/18/17/02 <br />Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the following appropriations for the Board's <br />consideration: <br />- General Services — To rollover $164,875 to complete OT Sloan pool projects not <br />completed in FY 2016-17 <br />- Social Services — To rollover $231,559 of restricted funds to FY 2017-18 <br />- Register of Deeds — To appropriate $2,995 from Register of Deeds Automation <br />Fund to purchase a large document storage unit <br />- Health -Environmental — To appropriate $161,605 for two (2) new environmental <br />health specialists' salary, fringes and equipment <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve Budget Amendment #09/18/17/02, a copy <br />of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof.
