Upon a vote, the results are as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Request for Adoption of proposed changes to the Animal Services Ordinance <br />Health Director Heath Cain requested the adoption of a proposed Animal Services <br />Ordinance. A public hearing was held at the August 21, 2017 Board of Commissioner <br />Meeting. Commissioner Reives requested information about an online system to profile <br />animals that are found to provide a more efficient means to locate owners and also <br />requested a Public Service Announcement regarding the importance of microchipping. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the proposed changes to the Animal Services <br />Ordinance, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof. The Board <br />accepted the initial offer at the August 21, 2017 meeting. An advertisement for upset bids <br />was placed in The Sanford Herald on August 30, 2017. No upset bids were submitted. <br />Commissioner Knecht moved to approve sale of surplus property located at 1909 Carr <br />Creek, a copy of the Resolution authorizing the sale is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof.
