BOX J7 PAGE 993 <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the friction had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the annexation of a portion of Carthage Street and <br />Tempting Church Road into the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1. Public <br />Works Director Kenny Cole told the Board he is proposing that the Lee County Water <br />and Sewer District No. 1 annex a portion of Carthage Street and Tempting Church Road <br />so these areas can be included in the Phase II project. In order to annex these two areas, <br />100% of the property owners must be willing to be annexed into the District and 85% of <br />the homeowners must sign up for water service. After some discussion, Commissioner <br />Gamer moved for Mr. Cole to proceed with the annexation process for the above two <br />areas.
