- General Services - to rollover funds for OT Sloan Pool Project ($81,000) and OT Sloan Storm Drain Project ($15,125) - Drug Seizure Fund — to appropriate fund balance for equipment in the 2017-18 Budget. Commission Sharpe moved to approve Budget Amendment #08/21/17/01, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan Nay: None The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. VII. MANAGER'S REPORTS July 2017 Financial Report Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the July 2017 Financial Report. No action was taken. County Manager Monthly Report for August 2017 County Manager John Crumpton presented his Monthly Report for August 2017, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon reporting to the Board the unfinished state of the San Lee Park Nature Center project, Mr. Crumpton requested the Board's consideration of moving forward with liquidated damages. Commissioner Reives moved to place the contractor for the San Lee Park Nature Center project on notice of Lee County's request for liquidated damages dated back to August 12, 2017. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe, Sloan Nay: None The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. VIII. CLOSED SESSIONS At this time, Commissioner Sloan made a motion to go into Closed Session to discuss the acquisition of real property per North Carolina General Statute § 143- 318.11(a)(5).
