Horner Blvd., Chairman I-lincks called the meeting to order. All Commissioners were <br />present for the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to open the public hearing that had been advertised <br />for this date and time. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />"rhe Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Planner Althea Thompson outlined the petition by Roy Mashburn to rezone from <br />Residential Restricted District to Highway Commercial District, one lot consisting of ?8 <br />acres of land located at 1909 Pendergrass Road. <br />Attorney Fred Webb, representing Roy Mashburn, asked that the Board approve <br />this rezoning petition. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearing and recessed the meeting while the <br />Planning Board deliberated on the above rezoning matter. <br />After the Planning Board completed deliberation, Planner Althea Thompson told <br />the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval of the rezoning request by Roy <br />Mashburn. Commissioner Garner moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Paschal <br />moved to adjourn the meeting.
