He told the Board that <br />the largest increases went to law enforcement personnel. After some discussion, <br />Commissioner Sauls moved to approve the new Lee County Compensation Plan, <br />excluding unclassified positions, effective January 1, 2001, a copy of which is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Rcives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Sauls moved that the unclassified positions of the County <br />Manager, County Attorney, Sheriff, and Register of Deeds be adjusted per the <br />recommendations of Mr. Scott. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an appointment to the Lee County Juvenile Crime <br />Prevention Council. Commissioner Reives moved to accept the recommendation from <br />Adult and Youth Services Director Randell Wodruff to appoint Judge Jim Love, Jr. to <br />this Council. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Department heads Mike Matochik and Lisa Minter gave oral presentations to the <br />Board concerning their departments. <br />5 <br />
