BGGR 18 PI-GE 2e1~ Z i <br />the College shall be responsible for securing the approval of the State Board of <br />Community Colleges and providing the County with proof of such approval. <br />Section 2.. Emergency Training Center Project. <br />a. The Board will make application to the LGC for approval <br />of installment loan financing in an amount not to exceed Two Million Five Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) for the matching local funds to pay capital costs of <br />constructing buildings and other improvements including the acquisition and installation <br />of necessary furnishings and equipment and the acquisition of land or rights in land <br />required therefore. <br />b. Upon receipt of approval from the LGC, the Board will <br />take the appropriate actions to close the installment loan to have the funds available by <br />January 2004. <br />C. The site for the Emergency Training Center is the former <br />airport property presently owned by the College. Any additional land or rights in land <br />will be purchased in the name of the College. Thereafter, the procedure set out in NCGS <br />§115-15.1 shall be followed and the College shall be responsible for securing the <br />approval of the State Board of Community Colleges and providing the County with proof <br />of such approval. <br />Section 3. Delegation of Authority. <br />The Board hereby delegates to the County Manager the authority <br />to execute Forms 3-1 or such other documents and to perform any and all acts which may <br />be necessary and appropriate to carry out the intent of this resolution and the matters <br />herein authorized. <br />
