Planner <br />Althea Thompson told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval of a <br />petition by John Daniel, agent for Mary St. Clair to rezone 3.67 acres of land at 3400 <br />Jefferson Davis Highway. John Daniel of 2250 Cape Jasmine Drive and Russell Doby of <br />7020 Lark Lane spoke concerning the petition. After much discussion, Chairman Hincks <br />moved to table this petition, along with a second petition by Mr. Daniel to rezone .90 <br />acres of land at the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and White Hill Road, <br />pending a recommendation from the Planning Board concerning a proposed amendment <br />to the Lee County Zoning Ordinance. Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the recommendation of the <br />Planning Board. After some discussion, Commissioner Paschal withdrew his motion. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to table the petition pending a recommendation from the <br />Planning Board concerning a proposed amendment to the Lee County Zoning Ordinance. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reivcs, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chainnan ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Planner Althea Thompson told the Board that the Planning Boad recommended <br />approval of the petition by Nancy W. Riddle to rezone a 200' x 110' lot at 3507 Hawkins <br />Avenue. Commissioner Lemmond moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board.
