® BCCK 48 PAGE 30P • Approval of a $1,500 start-up grant from the State for the Health Department to create a Fitness and Nutrition Council Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board. Planner Althea Thompson told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval of a petition by John Daniel, agent for Mary St. Clair to rezone 3.67 acres of land at 3400 Jefferson Davis Highway. John Daniel of 2250 Cape Jasmine Drive and Russell Doby of 7020 Lark Lane spoke concerning the petition. After much discussion, Chairman Hincks moved to table this petition, along with a second petition by Mr. Daniel to rezone .90 acres of land at the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and White Hill Road, pending a recommendation from the Planning Board concerning a proposed amendment to the Lee County Zoning Ordinance. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls Nay: None The Chainnan ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board. After some discussion, Commissioner Paschal withdrew his motion. Commissioner Adams moved to table the petition pending a recommendation from the Planning Board concerning a proposed amendment to the Lee County Zoning Ordinance. Commissioner Lemmond moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning Board.
