Homer Blvd., Agent for Lee Paving Company, Inc. spoke <br />in favor of the request. <br />Pat Kennedy of 2707 Nicholson Road had concerns about a mobile home park <br />being placed on this property. <br />Mrs. Thompson outlined the second rezoning request by Vincent Marc Maria and <br />property owner John Mutunga to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to <br />Highway Commercial District, 4.02 acres of land located at 4055 Jefferson Davis <br />Highway. <br />Vincent Marc Maria of 2509 Hickory House Road spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />request. <br />The following individuals spoke in opposition to the request: <br />Randall McCormick, 444 Wildlife Road <br />Bill Parrish, 5824 Mockingbird Lane (representing Quail Ridge) <br />Clara Foxx, 89 Wildlife Road <br />Elaine Isaac, 1028 Wildlife Road <br />Carlton Lyles, 900 Wildlife Road <br />Barbara Foxx, 4116 Jefferson Davis Highway <br />Chris Turner, 5826 Blue Jay Drive <br />Mrs. Thompson outlined the final rezoning petition for Reuben Wicker and <br />Bobbie Allen to rezone front Residential Restricted District to Residential Agricultural <br />District, all of the property at 944 Lower Moncure Road that is currently zoned <br />Residential Restricted. <br />Bobbie Allen of 966 Lower Moncure Road spoke in favor of the request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearings. <br />The Board heard a progress report from Planner Mandy Metcalf concerting the <br />Deep River Small Area Plan. No action was taken on this matter. <br />The Board considered the naming of the private road off Colon Road that Mr. <br />Kovasckitz had presented earlier. Commissioner Adams moved to approve the name of <br />Shallow Creek Lane.
