/ 008 <br />BLIN 18 vIAcE 3900 <br />For the purpose of employing inmate labor from Sanford Correctional Center, the following <br />terms are agreed upon by Sanford Correctional Center and Lee County Operational Services <br />1. LOGISTICS: <br />1. Six (6) inmates <br />2. Forty (40) hour per week, including travel <br />3. Five (5) days per week <br />4. Pack-outs supplied by Sanford Correctional Center <br />5. Transportation provided by Lee County Operational Services <br />II. WORK STATION/DUTY <br />1. Yard and park maintenance to include jail and courthouse outside area, <br />or other designated work areas. <br />2. Custodial assignment for cleaning building, to utilize inmates for loading/ <br />unloading materials off-site and under the supervision of the assigned supervisor <br />3. No work on public school grounds <br />111. SUPERVISION <br />1. Supervisors will receive Division of Prisons training prior to inmate assignments <br />2. Supervisors will be on-site with visual contact at all times, including lunch break <br />3. Inmates will receive job descriptions, documented equipment training by Lee <br />County Operational Services <br />4. Lee County Operational Services provide work schedules for Sanford Correctional <br />Center <br />IV. INMATE SCREENING <br />1. Lee County Operational Services may request screening of inmates prior to placement, <br />limited to public information policy <br />V. WAIVER AND BILLING INFORMATION <br />It is agreed that Administrative Cost will be waived <br />Lee Co. Operational Services will be billed one dollar ($1.00) per day per inmate <br />Billing will be in accordance with the Inmate Labor Contract <br />VI. TRANSPORTATION <br />1. Lee County Operational Services will transport inmates to and from the work site <br />2. Transporters will require PIN checks prior to transporting inmates <br />3. Upon return from work daily, inmates will be turned over to a staff member <br />VII. SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br />1. Sanford Correctional Center will provide steel toed shoes <br />2. Lee County Operational Services will furnish all other OSHA required equipment <br />hard hat, safety vest, etc.) <br />
