Economic Development Director Bob Heuts discussed proposed <br />changes with the Board and answered questions. After some discussion, Commissioner <br />Sauls moved to approve amendments to the Incentive Policy as presented, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered amendments to the By-Laws for the Lee County Economic <br />Development Corporation. Economic Development Director Bob Heuts discussed with <br />the Board proposed changes to the By-Laws and answered questions. After sonic <br />discussion, Chainnan Hincks moved to authorize the County Manager to advertise jointly <br />with the City of Sanford two times in The Sanford Herald vacancies for Boards and <br />Commissions. <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Leniniond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board discussed the formation of an Ad Hoc Committee with the City of <br />Sanford to examine additional cooperative agreements/consolidations among various <br />departments. Chairman Hincks moved that the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />endorse the formation of an Ad Hoc Committee to investigate additional inter- <br />governmental cooperative agreements and/or functional consolidations, and for the <br />Chairman and County Manager to pursue the composition of such a committee with the <br />3 <br />
