Lung 18 PAGE 43. 6 <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Economic Development Director Bob Heuts discussed with the Board the <br />proposed expansion of the Lee County Industrial Park. He asked that the Board <br />schedule a public hearing on this matter. After some discussion, Commissioner Sauls <br />moved to hold a public hearing at the June 18, 2001 meeting and for Mr. Heuts to be <br />prepared at that time to discuss how the County will finance this project. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chainnan ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved to go into closed session to discuss the location <br />of a new industry in Lee County. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After completing business in closed session, Commissioner Adams moved to go <br />out of the closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to hold a public hearing on June 18, 2001 to <br />consider economic development incentives with Wyeth Lederle Vaccines for a research <br />and development project. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board discussed June meeting dates. The June 18, 2001 meeting was <br />rescheduled for 1:00 p.m., with joint public hearings with the Planning Board at 3:00 <br />p.m. that day, and a budget work session to be held immediately following the regular <br />meeting. A joint public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening at the Deep River <br />4 <br />
