Mr. Cherry told the Board that at the April 2, 2001 meeting,
he was asked to supply additional information regarding the need for a change in the
Convenience Center User Policy. The change specifically dealt with the implementation
of a decal system as a means to monitor unauthorized use. He told the Board that a
greater effort had been taken to inform the public of the user policy through signage and
dissemination of information by center attendants. He and Public Works Director Kenny
Cole recommended that no action be taken on the implementation of a decal system at
this time. He told the Board that he would like to revisit the issue at a later date should
circumstances change.
