Ordinance 2017 - <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />OF THE LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received for the following <br />properties within the Lee County Industrial Park (Case #2017-0701): <br />• Charles Leuth of Luther/Leuth Property Management requests to rezone one 6.36 + acre tract <br />of land addressed as 5108 Rex McLeod Drive, depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9645.02 as <br />Tax Parcel 9645-65-9437-00 <br />• PCC Airfoils, Inc. requests to rezone one 20.59 + acre tract of land addressed as 5105 Rex <br />McLeod Drive, depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9645.02 as Tax Parcel 9645-65-3424-00 <br />• STI Polymer, Inc. to rezone one 12.82 + acre tract of land addressed as 5618 Clyde Rhyne <br />Drive), depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9645.02 as Tax Parcel 9645-55-7201-00 <br />• Noble Oil Services, Inc. to rezone three tracts of land totaling 29.56 + acres. One lot is <br />addressed as 5617 Clyde Rhyne Drive and the other two lots are vacant. The subject property <br />is depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9645.02 as Tax Parcels 9645-45-9484-00, 9645-55-9906- <br />00, and 9645-66-1232-00 <br />from the current zoning of Light Industrial (LI) to Heavy Industrial (HI); and <br />WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Lee Count Planning Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on July 17, <br />2017 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map of Lee County, North Carolina; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS: <br />The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone the following: <br />• One 6.36 + acre tract of land addressed as 5108 Rex McLeod Drive, depicted on Lee County <br />Tax Map 9645.02 as Tax Parcel 9645-65-9437-00 <br />• One 20.59 + acre tract of land addressed as 5105 Rex McLeod Drive, depicted on Lee County <br />Tax Map 9645.02 as Tax Parcel 9645-65-3424-00 <br />• One 12.82 + acre tract of land addressed as 5618 Clyde Rhyne Drive), depicted on Lee <br />County Tax Map 9645.02 as Tax Parcel 9645-55-7201-00 <br />• Three tracts of land totaling 29.56 + acres. One lot is addressed as 5617 Clyde Rhyne Drive <br />and the other two lots are vacant.
