Ms. Simpson removed the mobile home more than two years ago and therefore cannot place another home on the site. She further told the Board that she had contacted the Institute of Government for a recommendation and was told that nothing could be done in this case. No action was taken on the matter. Commissioner Reives moved that the Lee County Board of Education, pursuant to North Carolina General Statures 115C-429 and 115C-43(b), provide the Lee County Board of Commissioners with a document showing budget appropriations and actual expenditures of such appropriations for fiscal years 1999/2000 and 2000/2001. He also moved that the Board of Education Finance Officer provide a document showing the breakdown of the 2001/2002 budget request by mandatory and discretionary items, as defined by North Carolina General Statutes 115C-38, 115C-42, 115C-277, 115C-447, 115C-521, 115C-522, and 115C-534.
